Will there be things like computers and the internet in Heaven?

Heavens, NO!!! One needs only to consider the capabilities of the human mind and the One who created that mind to realize that what we will "need" in Heaven is far superior to our puny little "high"-tech mechanisms.

Our minds can store and retrieve vast amounts of information. No computer could ever duplicate this astounding capacity for intelligence in the human mind. Logic, therefore, dictates that if the human mind is capable of such intelligence in the midst of our fallen, Adamic limitations in this perverse and corruptible world, what then shall we be capable of in Heaven, where no sin, no corruption, and no desensitizing barriers exist?

"But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea the deep things of God..." (1 Cor. 2:9,10).

What man has created or will create in the realm of high tech is not worthy to be compared with what God creates! Hallelujah, Lord, Jesus! For by the Word of your mouth all things were created both on earth and in Heaven! "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made"(Jn. 1:1-3).

If the "foolishness of God is wiser than men...that according as it is written, he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord" (1 Cor.1:25-31), then it stands to reason that our wisest inventions are nothing to Almighty God. In Heaven we will only glorify Him in all we do, in all we say, in all work that we perform, and in all that we are. All in Heaven will be God-created, that "no flesh should glory in His presence," neither should any invention of mankind stand in His presence or be "needed" in the least.

And this is the Scripture context to which Paul is referring: "Let not the wise man glory in His wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches. But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understands and knows me..." (Jer. 9:23, 24). Amen, Lord Jesus, for You alone are "... worthy to receive glory and honor and power, for thou hast created all things and for thy pleasure they are and were created" (Rev. 4:11).

All that is needed in Heaven is that which God "invents"!
